Rules to know
- Each air parcel is up to 22kg (22–39kg carries a 1,386,000₫/parcel surcharge; over 39kg not accepted).
- Parcels longer than 119cm or with any side over 70cm carry a 1,056,000₫/parcel surcharge.
- Express Air does not accept branded/replica goods or food containing meat, eggs, dairy, bird's nest or seeds — these go through the restricted-goods service, quoted separately by our team.
- Bird's nest: up to 2kg per order, packed in silver zip bags.
- Sea: ideally 12–22kg per parcel, packed in cartons; food, loose batteries and tobacco not accepted.
- Goods valued above the US duty-free limit may be taxed under the destination's rules.
- Remote-area addresses (DAS) cost 150,000₫/parcel extra, Remote areas 650,000₫/parcel (by ZIP code); changing the receiver's address 730,000₫/parcel; return to the warehouse or a second delivery 990,000₫/parcel.
- Loss/damage is compensated at the declared value, up to 2,300,000₫ per shipment; buy insurance for higher cover.
- Not accepted: gas cylinders and devices containing them, raw agarwood (agarwood incense and powder are accepted, with a surcharge), drugs, weapons, explosives.
- Liquids must be tightly sealed, packed in a foam box and then an outer carton.
- The USA does not accept: CITES-listed goods (rare wild animals and plants and products made from them), compressed aerosol sprays, power banks (only small batteries built into devices), food with less than 2 months to expiry or fresh produce.
- Parcels over 39kg, longer than 230cm or with a girth (length + 2 × (width + height)) over 310cm are not accepted; no delivery to Hawaii or Alaska.
- Prices exclude VAT.
- Chargeable weight = the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (Length × Width × Height in cm ÷ the service's divisor).
- UCargo offers free pickup at your door within Ho Chi Minh City; for other provinces, our team will advise you.
- Delivery times are in working days and for reference only (they depend on weather and destination customs).
- Sea cargo starts at 20kg; the price depends on the receiver's address (looked up by ZIP code). Puerto Rico and ZIP codes outside the price list: our staff quote separately.

How much does it cost per kg to ship to the USA?
Shipping to the USA starts from 120,000₫/kg for 21kg and over. The price per kg goes down as the weight bracket goes up (see the rates above); for under 20kg, ask the UCargo assistant for a price by weight. Food, cosmetics, batteries and liquids carry extra surcharges.
How long does shipping to the USA take?
Express Air 7–14 days; Sea (door-to-door) 30–45 days; Restricted-goods air (food, bird's nest, branded goods…) 8–15 days (working days, counted from when the goods leave Ho Chi Minh City; for reference).
Can I send food and cosmetics to the USA?
Yes. Surcharges for food, dietary supplements and cosmetics — Air: 50,000₫/kg; Sea: 30,000₫/kg. Note: Express Air does not accept branded & replica goods, bird's nest, sea worms, saffron.
Does UCargo pick up from my door?
Yes, free pickup at your door within Ho Chi Minh City. From other provinces, send your goods by intercity bus to a bus station in Ho Chi Minh City and UCargo will collect them there, or send them straight to the UCargo warehouse — our team will guide you when confirming the order.
